Currently, Mike is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association; Alabama and Georgia Bar Associations, the Greater Birmingham Area Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Assocaition and the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association. In 2008, Mike was awarded an award for an Outstanding Performance in a Criminal Case by the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association for his work in a high profile Capital Murder case.
    Mike practices law as a partner in the firm of Blalock & Blalock, P.C. in the areas of Federal Employer’s Liability Act (FELA). Mike also regularly handles matters involving criminal, personal injury, worker’s compensation, medical malpractice and product liability cases. Mike is married to Sally Blalock who is a flight attendant for American Airlines and also employed by Realty South as a real estate agent in the Birmingham area. [Go Back]
